What We Do – Above Limits

1. EMPOWERMENT

We empower members of the African community by building their capacity through information delivered in form of group training, seminar, workshops or one-to-one support. We support them with skills development in the following area but this list is not exhaustive;

Business skills including sales and marketing, financial accounting, customer services, networking, strategic planning, time and team management and many more skills
Job skills including communication, team working, decision making, presentation, CV writing and interviewing
Leadership and management
Information and Communication Technology
Music and dance
Playing a musical instrument
Food hygiene
Project management
English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
And many more skills

2. ENGAGEMENT

We support members of African community to be engaged with the wider community by supporting them to meet other members of the wider community and doing activities or having an event together with members of the wider community and encouraging them to be involved in decision making concerning the community.

3. ADVOCACY

As members of the African community are not fully engaged with the wider community, they do not access most support available to them. We support them to access support and also to speak on behalf of those who are unable to do so.
